Advising is a one-to-one conversation about your learning, with one of our learning advisors. Our overall goal is to help you gain a deeper awareness of your language learning potential and to support your general well-being as a university student at KUIS.

- Check their available day and time.
- Choose a time.
- Tell us what you would like to talk about.
※ If you wish to have an ONLINE session, please write about it in the ‘Advisor’s notes’ box. - Check your email – you will receive a confirmation for the meeting.
- If you can’t come, please cancel online (you can also email salc@kanda.kuis.ac.jp).
- For face-to-face appointments, please meet your learning advisor at the SALC counter.

*For faculty members
- Choose a teacher below – click on the picture. Make sure you choose the correct option of online or face-to-face.
- Choose a day and time.
- Tell us what you would like to talk about.
- Check your email – you will receive a link/instructions for the meeting.
- If you can’t come, please cancel online (you can also email salc@kanda.kuis.ac.jp).
- If you wish to share a piece of writing or presentation slides with the teacher, please send it 5-10 minutes before your appointment time (no earlier). Please see the instructions here for how to share it.
- If you have made an appointment to meet your teacher online, use the link you received in the email. If you are early, you may need to wait in the waiting room until the teacher is available. If you have made an appointment to meet your teacher face-to-face, go to the Academic Support Area on the 2nd floor of KUIS 8.
