Hybrid Yukata 101: Learn to tie your obi in two different ways!

1. Tanabata Decoration

The SALC put Tanabata themed decorations at the Gallery in the SALC. Come and enjoy the decoration.

2. Workshop: How to choose yukata based on personal color

This workshop will be held online. Let’s check your personal color and choose a Yukata that matches you. We recommend that you prepare two devices: one to join the event and two to check the Yukata data and your face. You can enjoy conversation with attendees about Yukata and personal color at the end of the event.

3. Let’s play Tanabata crossword puzzles!

There are four posters around the SALC. Each poster has one question about Tanabata. You can find all the posters and complete the crossword! After completing it, you can tell the keyword to the Tanabata staff and get the snacks!

4. Yukata 101: Learn to tie your obi in two different ways!

This hybrid workshop is about how to wear Yukata. The learning advisors, Yuri and Amelia will support you in English and Japanese. Please make sure to read the reservation page carefully and reserve before the event day.
